After pioneering photographic technologies for over 70 years, FUJIFILM applied its technological know-how to the world of skin care, giving birth to ASTALIFT, an anti-aging skin care brand. In Japanese, “ASTA” means tomorrow, representing the desire for long-lasting beauty, while “LIFT” represents the brand’s efforts to enhance natural beauty. Since 2007, ASTALIFT has produced four key technologies for skin care and base makeup. Using these technologies, the brand created nano-ingredients for improved absorption into skin; three types of collagen to restore moisture, elasticity and firmness; a combined antioxidant ingredient that boosts the skin’s rejuvenating power; and a light-analyzing powder that makes skin look smoother and more even-toned. Its cosmetics range targets concerns such as signs of aging, dark spots and uneven skin tone, dry skin, loss of firmness, visible pores, and acne. The brand is best known for its award-winning UV Protection Brightening Set, which blocks UVA rays to minimize dark spots and create translucent skin.
