ILLIT is back with another hit! The first girl group under HYBE’s sub-label BeLift Lab, ILLIT made a splash with their infectious, ultra girly debut single Magnetic last year. In stark contrast to their previous upbeat songs, the K-pop group’s latest track is Not Cute Anymore, showing a different side of the girls with relaxed reggae-like beats and laid-back vibes.
ILLIT’s Not Cute Anymore music video opens with a powerful declaration: “Being cute doesn’t define who I am. There’s so much more to me than that.” The outfits of the five members embody this message, showcasing their quirky and eccentric styles while still exuding charm. Are you ready to take a page from ILLIT and leave “cute” behind?
Minju

The first scene has all five members of ILLIT in oversized blazers. Minju is decked in a black and white ensemble, wearing her black blazer over a white shirt and puffy chiffon skirt. She adds a bit of silver with a body chain layered over the white shirt. In line with the color palette, Minju finishes her outfit with white socks and black platform loafers.

Iroha

Keeping it cozy in a slumber party outfit, Iroha is unfazed even when a disco ball smashes through her bedroom wall. She wears a slim-fit, long-sleeve blue top and comfortable lounge pants with “I <3 ME” printed all over. Decorated faux nails spruce up her look.

Wonhee

Wonhee leads the chorus declaring, “I’m not cute anymore.” Her outfit is simple but right on trend, pairing a cropped lilac knit top with baggy light wash jeans. She accessorizes with a silver keychain hanging off her belt loop, plus glittery nails. White platform sneakers peek out under her loose jeans.

Moka

Moka fires the starting pistol for a street drag race with her newly debuted blonde hair and blunt bangs. Her look is a masterclass in layering. A black grungy graphic shirt and black jeans anchor the get-up, and then she layers over a knee-length black leather skirt for a different twist to the silhouette. Black heels and bold accessories like a chunky pearl necklace pile on more drama. All of the elements clash a little but work together surprisingly well!
