After winning music show trophies for the hit Future Perfect (Pass The MIC) in July this year, K-pop rising sensation ENHYPEN surprised fans by releasing a new MV in the same month. The septet dropped ParadoXXX Invasion, one of the B-sides from their latest mini album Manifesto: Day 1. The million-selling album kicked off a new era for ENHYPEN with grittier, more assertive music. While the South Korean boy group channel their rebellious side in Future Perfect (Pass The MIC), they share the same self-affirming message in ParadoXXX Invasion but with a more nonchalant approach.
In ParadoXXX Invasion, the Gen Z group questions the conventional standard of success stipulated by grown-ups from past generations. The song epitomizes ENHYPEN’s determination to unapologetically carve out their own path and make a mark in the world. A departure from their previous head-bopping beats, ParadoXXX Invasion harks back to the early aughts with a hip-hop-inspired pop melody with retro outfits and backdrops to match. Read on to recreate ENHYPEN’s hipster streetwear looks!
Theme #1: School Uniform-Inspired

The music video opens with the K-pop boy group chillaxing in a makeshift classroom set atop a tow truck. Befitting the college-themed mise-en-scène, the members are clad in school uniform-style ensembles with a streetwear twist. Their groovy uniform ‘fits include oversized button-up shirts, hoodies and baseball jackets, emulating popular high school boys. The group members radiate youthful, laid-back vibes in a combination of vibrant colors and baggy silhouettes.

Jay impresses with a summer-ready get-up as he kicks open a door and hops off the truck. He flaunts his toned arms by donning a blue knit vest with a beige hood layered over a plain white tank top. Jay opts for light khaki wide-leg pants for a clean look. His black logo-embellished tie and silver cross dangle earrings add grungy appeal to the uniform-inspired outfit.

Heeseung’s refreshing school-themed ensemble rendered in soft colors perfectly illustrates his boyish charm. He’s decked in a loose long-sleeve T-shirt under a light blue oversized elbow-sleeve shirt for slouchy layering style. While Heeseung’s top exudes a casual, relaxed mood, his wide-leg cargo pants balance the look with utilitarian chic. A pastel blue striped tie lends a preppy touch to his apparel.

Theme #2: Playful Hip-Hop Style

ENHYPEN take cues from hip-hop fashion to express plenty of swag and attitude in this MV. Oversized jackets, sportswear items and graphic tees serve as the baseline for their hip-hop wardrobe. The group spices things up with offbeat accents like animal prints and a mix and match of contrasting colors.

Sunghoon becomes the center of attention in a zebra print windbreaker. Instead of reaching for a simple inner layering piece, he wears a half tie-dye T-shirt on top of a plain white tee for stylishly mismatched aesthetics. Classic hip-hop fashion staples like drawstring sweatpants and nubuck lace-up boots seal his hip look.

Going for maximum drama, Jungwon pulls off a bold ensemble consisting of an eye-catching tiger print zip jacket and an oversized leather vest. Not only does the singer choose big sartorial statements for his top half, but he also puts on loose-fit bleached jeans for extra grunge. He adds a gold-tone pendant necklace to top off his outfit merging elements of punk and hip-hop fashion.

NI-KI gives off B-boy swag by putting together a leopard print oversized shirt, black short-sleeve tee and white long-sleeve T-shirt. His tie-dye wide-fit cargo pants detailed with flap pockets on the sides amplify the early-aughts vibes while echoing Sunghoon’s outfit. NI-KI nods to the genderless jewelry trend with a faux pearl necklace that contrasts his ultra-masculine streetwear look.

Theme #3: Denim-and-White Combo

Who’d have thought white tees and blue jeans could look so cool before seeing ENHYPEN’s take on the classic combo? As the group dance in front of two gigantic cargo containers, they show their personalized ways of styling in the form of oversized white T-shirts and heavily distressed jeans with different add-ons. From denim-on-denim looks to minimalist layering ensembles, ENHYPEN prove that there’s a slew of ways to rock the two wardrobe staples.

Sunoo aims for a tactical twist by layering a khaki utility vest emblazoned with cargo pockets over a logo-filled T-shirt. His jeans feature fewer rips and a simpler silhouette than those of his peers to highlight Sunoo’s utilitarian outerwear. He brings a pop of color to his military-esque ‘fit with red sneakers and accessorizes with silver-tone layered necklaces as finishing touches.

Jake’s tee-and-jeans get-up is easy to recreate and effortlessly stylish. He tucks his plain white top into his distressed jeans designed with an extra loose-fit cut for street-style flair. He throws on a light beige zip-up hoodie to keep his stage outfit suitable for everyday wear. Additional accessories like a grommet belt and silver rings complete his weekend-ready look.
