The denim material is fairly sturdy, definitely on the nicer side of fast-fashion denim. It isn't that super floppy, limp denim. Not super stiff or thick either, but honestly better than you'd expect from yesstyle. Would definitely recommend. The length is pretty accurate to the photo, though bear in mind that I did order a size large for that baggy, oversized fit. I have a 23-24 in / 58-60 cm waist and I'm 5'4. :-( If you want a more fitted look and a shorter length you could definitely get a small or medium (if your measurements are similar to mine). I love the fit of the ones I got, the waistband fits around my hips instead of my waist. Of course, it can be cinched with a belt to fit my waist as well. Fitting around the hips instead fo the waist gives it a really trendy relaxed look in my opinion, and gives that boxy shape (which I like). Whereas if you get a pair that fit around the waist (so like a small of you have my measurements, or a large if you're on the chubbier side (´ω｀*) <3 ) the cinching at the waist would cause it to flair out around the hips and have a shorter length, giving a you more "curvy" look. Depends what you're looking for. The rips are also in a good place, pretty accurate to the photos, not too high so don't worry about your underwear showing or anything hehe. Overall cute, I love these shorts and I think they really flatter my body (and would do for most people). I don't think that they'll rip/fall apart soon and they're comfortable! These jean shorts fit comfortably on a US 8 but some may be bothered by how the shorts scrunch up in the crotch area.

nothing like on the picture I have the biggest cameltoe with those shorts the length is pretty but I have to wear a long shirt above to cover up that up
