Think of it like rubbing extremely lightweight mud-cream around your face. It smells slightly like wet seaweed drying in the sun, but the scent wasn't too heavy for me.
It isn't for dry-washing, but wet hands are enough to get it all over, down to my neck. When washed off it doesn't leave a film, no smell, no stripping. But my face feels clean. It's like that squeaky clean feeling of cleaned pores. I think it may be slightly drying for people with dry skin, but it was perfect for my oily one. I once went in with a double-cleanse with this and ended up drying my skin slightly.
