TONYMOLY - From Ganghwa Clear Mugwort First Essence

I’m writing this review as I’m about to finish my 1st bottle. When I don’t to my skincare I can get really dry flaky skin. you know that feeling when you washed your face and your cleanser left your face dry and tight? This soothes your skin and gives a ton of hydration to prepare for your next products. It absorbs like a dream and has a pleasant light herbal natural smell. I can’t live without this!!

I absolutely love this essence, it's so calming and fresh in the same time. I also has a healing effect and definitely improves the skin.

This has such a watery and very runny texture that it is a joy to pat on the skin a few times. For me this doesn't really have a hydrating feature but rather a soothing effect. I use this before I apply my retinol or vitamin c serum as I feel that it helped lessen the adverse effect of using these potent products. I love the earthy herbal smell too. Love the simplicity of the formulation just artemisia and preservatives, that's it! My husband noticed that my face looks brighter and radiant which I believe is just the synergy effect of the products I am using. At the end of my night time skincare routine, I also use the watery cream of the same line which is absolutely divine to use too. I hope you will give this a try if you are into using first essences. Love this little bad boy!

I cannot believe that I absolutely love this first essence. It is amazing! It soothes and hydrates my skin like nothing else and I am in love. I will repurchase this until they stop making it! Just wonderful! especially for those who have sensitized or dehydrated skin. This helped immensely! I love it ❤️

One of my favourite mugwort essences. Lightweight, absorbs easily, soothes and calms irritation and redness!

Maybe mugwort is not the ingredient for me because I have not noticed any results with this first essence. That being said, it did not make me break out. I am happy for everyone else's success and will be using it up.

i started my mugwort journey because i suffered from sensitivity and hormonal acne and it is suprising that mugwort is so effective in dealing with it all, plus it is hydrating

nice product. seems to be calming my skin and lightweight quick absorbing. but price wise it isn't cheap for an essence. so far so good.

Very lightweight first essence, it absorbs quickly and easily. I use it to soothe my skin right after cleansing. The smell of mugwort is very light and pleasant at the same time.
It's a bit pricey, but not much different comparing with Missha or Imfrom mugwort products.

I have never used a mugwort essence in my routine and I am in love with this! Very thin, it sinks in the skin immediately and it effectively minimize redness, it has a slight herbal scent and it’s very soothing.
