romand - Zero Velvet Tint Vintage Filter Series - 4 Colors

I recommend watching Minsco’s videos about romand and she gives great insight about helping you chose your shade! I’m a dark shade 23 maybe 25 and Autumn warm and I decided to get Vintage Taupe or 23! Bruv don’t look at my half done eyeliner bc I just got this today💀

[formula & finish ]: completely matte, not particularly drying or moisturizing, has a mousse-like texture and a smoothing effect, not transfer-proof, layers up on itself well, wears longer if you blot after applying
[ colour ]: neutral mid-tone mauve taupe, will probably work on most skin tones, shows up pretty dark on light skin but can blend to be quite natural (like in the swatch photos)
[ packaging ]: matte with speckled frost finish (the visual effect of being covered in dust), textured surface makes the component easier to grip, the wiper seems tight but a lot of product is left on the applicator, feels weighted for plastic packaging
[ additional stuff ]:
- smells mildly like alcohol/cleaner, not off-putting and doesn't linger
- if it matters to you, my shade is a 23 in korean foundations, though my arm is 1-2 shades lighter, so it might affect the swatches
- the dust-like packaging weirded me out at first and it sort of seems like a cheaper alternative to frosted glass, but it's not unpleasant
- my package arrived after a month, but I had a lot of different stuff in my order so it might have arrived sooner individually

[ Tl;DR ]: lovely colour, good for that blurred instagram lip, not transfer-proof though

I'm so happy I decided to purchase these colors! They're definitely unique and no where near similar to the colors I own.

First image is of Vintage Taupe. This color is a brown with a bit of orange added in (perfect for this fall!) 🍁🍂🥧🎃

Second image is of Nerd Pink. I'd say this color is a darker, no white, version of #18 Petal Tassel. It also has a good amount of purple hues in it as well (it's been sooo difficult for me to find an actual mauve tint from a Korean brand...until now lol!) 😍💜

I'd highly recommend both of this colors for anyone looking for a good mid-tone brown and an actual mauve color for cool tones. Good job on these ones, Rom&nd! 👏
