A good cushion, but not for me.

🍒 Review: Zero Cushion Natural 21 🍒
~Application: ●●●○○
notes: This was my first cushion foundation and it took me a while to figure out how to actually use it and make it last on my skin type (sensitive-oily). if you are new to makeup or if this is your first cushion, you may need to practice. don’t put on too much at once and pat pat pat (it comes with a decent puff).
~Shade match: ●●●●●
notes: I have fair skin with a weird undertone that western foundation shades usually don’t offer. I am half russian and I read that many people from that area have pale, olive-yellow skin. shade natural 21 is a perfect match!
~ingredients: ●○○○○
notes: This is the reason I will not repurchase this otherwise good cushion! It makes me break out everytime I apply it. I get itchy spots on my face. I recently found out that I am sensitive to esters, oils and stearates. unfortunately this cushion contains stearic acid, which makes me break out. If you have blemish prone or oily skin I recommend a patch test, it does not contain any notably good ingredients otherwise.
~longevity: ●●●●○
notes: this is one of the better foundations I’ve worn, it does not oxidize and lasts for a good amount of time, I did not need to touch it up throughout the day. I always need to apply powder on top of it because it does crease so it’s not as adhesive as I’d like it to be.
~conclusion~
I’m happy I tried it as I really like all romand products I’ve purchased so far but unfortunately I will need to part ways with this one. Try it if you do not have my skin type, I think it’s worth a shot!
actually my favorite cushion now!

after struggling through my skin issues, I can now use this without breaking out. It’s the only cushion that matches my skin tone perfectly! it’s definitely become my favorite. 💖
