Has a bit of a white sheen, but a bargain

I am wearing this as a tailed choker here. it’s reasonable weighted and very shiny. But there is a drastic color difference between this chain and similar chain pieces of higher quality. for color and material comparison, my other necklace is steel (value $40), my small dangling earring is white gold (value $80) (in second pic), and my large fringe earring is plated brass (value $500) (in first pic). As you can see, this chain matches the color family of white gold much better than typical steel.
The chain is called a Cuban link, which is popular in street fashion - and most people go for an aged finish, as it helps create a grunge aesthetic. see here how my other Cuban link jewelry has a black shadow, while this piece has a costume-y, white sheen? For the price, this is a nice chain that looks identical to more expensive pieces - but if you own jewelry of varying quality, you’ll be able to tell the difference, especially in photos.
