Amoureux de ma camelliaSilky soft eye contour perfection bottled up ❤️July 25, 2019Ever since I introduced these Merbliss eye masks I’ve been hooked and use them several times per week. There are many brands in the industry who offer hydrogel eye masks but these remain my absolute fave. There are 60 masks and come housed in a really cute tub and once opened one finds a spatula to help pick up the masks, minimized contamination of product and prevention of tearing as they are very fragile and wafer thin which can be a problem if one has long nails. They also feel really soft and squishy and are imbued with essence which has the texture of a light watery gel. I also apply these masks to my naso labial area too. My skin feels silky soft after application ❤️
They are beautifully fragranced but this doesn’t cause any irritation to my skin or eyes and I love the active ingredients of the essence which is perfect to sooth, hydrate and also gently exfoliate the skin as they contain honey extract. Another plus point is that is than in comparison to other brands the ingredient list is quite clean.
These masks have the dual purpose of being melted transforming into essence after they have been used however I don’t bother with doing this.
The only fault I find in them is that after application and finish massaging the remaining essence the essence starts to pill/flake off. I now just use a roller to massage and roll any eye cream or balm over to seal treatment. I have found this pilling issue happens with every hydrogel eye mask I have tried.
These masks are an absolute must for anyone to take time out and treat such a delicate area which is constantly under stress and subjected to detrimental elements such as eyestrain from too much time staring at a phone screen, pollution, stressing the skin when applying eye makeup, tugging skin when putting in contact lenses, and more...
