My new favorite cleansing oil
December 2, 2021
Prior to buying this oil I was using Burt’s bees cleansing oil which was fine, I’ve repeatedly purchased the Burt’s bees kind but there was nothing particularly special about it. It worked, so I kept repurchasing. I was starting to run low on the Burt’s bees and the last time I had to repurchase it I was having a hard time finding it locally so I decided to try something else and as a replacement I purchased this juice to cleanse cleansing oil.
I do also occasionally use a cleansing balm, particularly for removing eye make up. When this one arrived I had 5 different oils to choose from (Burt’s bees, banilla clean it zero, heimish cleansing balm, Lancôme miel en mousse, and this one) and I have consistently been reaching for this one. I’m not exactly sure what it is specifically about this oil cleanser that’s making me reach for it more than the others but I really like it! It does have a light citrus scent to it, so if you’re sensitive to fragrances this might not be the right product for you but also keep in mind you are rinsing it off as well so it might not be as harsh as you think.
Another thing I’ve noticed when using this is my skin feels SO soft after, and not at all greasy or oily. I kind of feel like I could skip the 2nd cleanse and only use this but I have combination skin so I don’t want to disrupt the good thing I have going right now so I’ll continue on with my double cleanse.
Overall, I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a good oil cleanser, it effectively removes make up, it has a nice but not overpowering scent, and leaves my face feeling soft and hydrated but not greasy. I will definitely be repurchasing this one.
