Very Strong Hold!

I got this to use in the shower to hold my razor as I've been sitting in on the shower caddy for years but it sometimes falls off. I hadn't seen something like this before so was excited to get it.
I made the silly mistake of not checking the photo (and not wearing my thinking cap...) before installing so I actually installed it upside down... It could still hold the razor but looked odd. I quickly tried to remove it as I had only stuck it on 1 min before so thought I had time to move it but no, it was NOT budging. I had to boil a kettle and pour hot water over it to soften the glue, which wasn't enough, then use a knife to carve it off. The 3M sticky pad was mangled so I used some E6000 glue (only glue I had handy) to stick it back on the wall. I did actually then go and purchase some 3M foam pads elsewhere online to use if/when the E6000 becomes unstuck, though I do wish I had waited for those to arrive. I really wanted to use it though, haha! Point of the story is, make sure you've got it up the right way/positioned perfectly because these have a very strong hold practically instantly.
My only concern is that I can't fit the razor facing towards the shower like in the description photos. I hope it's just the shape of my razor though, as I would prefer to have the sharp blades facing away from those showering. It's not a big deal though, as it's still better than sitting on the caddy and falling off onto the shower floor. Would buy again!
