Benton - Cacao Moist And Mild Cream 50g

I think this is a wonderful, more fresh and light-weight formula of a moisturizer. Now, I have dry and dehydrated skin so my skin lacks in both water and oil. Personally, my opinion is that this feels a bit more hydrating rather than moisturizing. Normally, because dryness is a big concern of mine I tend to go for thick creams (especially in winter) but this just feels so good on my skin. The snail bee high content steam cream is also wonderful and more thick so I prefer it over this one in the winter, but I can't go without this either. This product sinks in to the skin like a dream, smells like nothing; there is nothing offensive about this cream. It's probably one of the most gentle formulas you'll find out there. So I would recommend this to all skin types, including those with sensitive skin :) I'm writing this review now, only because I plan on purchasing another one.

I always have trouble finding a moisturiser that will boost the moisture in my acne prone sensitive dehydrated skin, but often moisturisers that are too mild don't moisturise, and ones that moisturise are too irritating for my skin. But this is the perfect texture and thickness, it is more like a milky gel that really helped to soothe and smooth my often troubled skin and it makes my makeup application glide on. I will always repurchase this product, as come winter or summer, it is an all round amazing find!

I like this cream, however no surprise there as I am a fan of Benton products in general and this also seems to be another good one from them. The cream seems to be almost as thick as the Steam Cream, also goes on heavy on the skin however it absorbs matte within about 30 seconds so no complaints. I do have oily skin and like the Steam Cream it doesn't help with the sebum, the dry / normal skin people will likely have a different experience, I do find it moisturising enough however at night I do like to mix a few drops of oil for that extra oomph.

I would say this is a summer / day cream more than winter / night cream in my opinion.

I use it in my day skincare routine and I love it, it completely absorbes into the skin, but it's not moisturising enough I feel slightly dry in the end of the day and can't use it for nighttime, but overall I love it because I haven't tried better product for day

I really like this cream! It melts on the face like water and hydrates the skin for a long time. It's really weightless and gives my skin the most beautiful glass effect! I really anjoyed this and I will repurchase!

This product really helped my skin its very light doesnt feel thick and overall first cream I really enjoy for my acne prone skin. This is my 2nd purchase.

based on the ingredients and several of the reviews, I expected this cream to be really thick and occlusive. it dispenses as a dense cream, but totally melts as soon as you apply it, turning slightly watery in texture, then absorbs fully into the skin. I think this cream is excellent for oily skin, or for use in the summer as a lighter moisturizer option. it is fragrance free but has that signature “Benton scent” which is difficult to describe. I like that this cream isn’t greasy and it really moisturizes my skin, almost like there is a thin, occlusive layer that isn’t heavy at all. strong contender for a repurchase!

This is actually my first Benton product and is the reason why I kept purchasing their products. This is one of my favourite creams. I use it at night time at the last time, sometimes daytime as well depending on my skin. This spreads so nicely and gives u a somewhat moist and low key wet feeling when you rub it in. Don’t let the word cacao fool you. I thought cacao would make the cream super thick but it is very lightweight. Does not leave a film or stickiness yet it is very hydrating, comfortable and absorbable. The finish is dewy but sets down after a while. It is mild as described and works great for my sensitive skin. My skin feels soft and smooth the next morning after using this.⁣

I really like this moisturizer. It's not the fanciest out here, but contrary to some more expansive products, it does the job really well. The gel-like texture spreads very well over the skin, and it feels like a shot of water onto the face. It's very refreshing and light, while still very hydrating. Save this for spring/summer though, it might be a little light for the colder months.
