A Squeaky Clean Scalp
February 26, 2020
This scrub is fun to use. It removes accumulated dead skin and product residues. You don't have to have dandruff to use it, though it removes small flakes and loosens larger ones. The directions say use alone, or follow up with shampoo. I don't think a further shampoo is necessary, unless you have very oily hair. Plus, you'd wash away the cool minty tingle, which is the fun part.
It's easy to use. I squeeze some out into one hand, work it into my scalp with the other, then massage for several minutes. The scrub has a moderate lather, enough to help spread the product around as well as degrease the scalp and roots. It doesn't leave my scalp dry and itchy, even though it's salt. Dead Sea salt is actually beneficial and non-drying to skin. Also, I have colored hair, and didn't notice any extra color loss compared to my other shampoos.
