Rohto Mentholatum - Skin Aqua UV Super Moisture Gel Gold SPF 50+ PA++++

I was initially disappointed to find out that the new 2020 Super Moisture Gel was reformulated to remove Uvinul A Plus, to have Tinosorb S as the sole UVA1 filter. This is not a good choice, because Tinosorb S does not protect beyond 385 nm (Uvinul A Plus does), so it is no longer a full UVA1 sunscreen. However, I was happy to see that the Super Moisture Gel Gold formulation has both Uvinul A Plus and Tinosorb S for comprehensive UVA1 coverage. The Gel Gold formulation is very light weight, and works wonderfully on the body. Since it is non-mineral it works great when at work, because it does not stain clothes. It is water resistant, which is good in terms of providing longer-lasting UV protection. I do not find it shiny or sticky at all on the body, but it can be slightly shiny on the face - I use the Super Moisture Essence on the face, and I find it to be less shiny.

I was kinda skeptical about buying a suncreen with low reviews but I AM SO HAPPY! After a year of wearing awful thick mineral suncreens that left a white cast on my brown skin, this is a godsend! It has a lotion-like consistency that sinks beautifully into your skin and leaves a silky hydrated finish after application which is perfect for my dry skin. The only downside is that I can't see how much is left (so that I know when to repurchase another one!) because the packaging is opaque. But other than that... I love it <3

my favourite sunscreen of all times. I’ve tried many of the european ones and nothing compares to this one. The texture is very light, so is perfect for layering to get the perfect sun protection. Also works wonder under makeup. It dries quite quickly but leaves the skin hydrated. There’s a considerate quantity of alcohol, but it doesn’t bothers me, because is the only product I have in my skincare routine that has it. I will definitely buy again.

Similar to the regular Skin Aqua, but slightly more hydrating and stays in place better. Feels great, no white cast, slightly dewy finish. No acne breakouts!

I bought one bottle and soon after bought 3 more. I have oily skin and this one is very good . It doesn't leave my skin oily and there is no white cast.

I have bought SO many sunscreens for my oily skin. This one is the best. It is light, it disappears in the skin.

I love all the Skin Aqua gel sunscreens and this updated version is just as good. The updated ingredients promise to deliver better performance for long term sun protection.

This comes in 110g size and it’s a really light gel texture and sinks into nothing, it’s okay on my sensitive skin however it does have alcohol so keep that in mind

Love it. Is liquid, absorbs very well,doesn't leave oily or white cast on my oily/combo skin. Doesn't peel even with my most problematic skincare products. The bottle is very handy and the amount is very practical.

This bottle has lasted me so much longer than other similar sun blocks. It’s very thin and has a cool feel as you apply it, which is lovely for mid-day reapplication. I like to use a thin layer over a thicker mineral suncscreen, and this product really helps to conceal the white cast from other mineral based products. It also preps the face for makeup with a glowy but not sticky finish.

There’s this alcohol-y smell at first which disappears in less than a minute. Seems to have a white cast at first but that disappears as well as you rub it in. AND it doesn’t take much to rub the entire thing in! No stinging in the eyes either. Tried without moisturizer underneath and it seemed fine even now during winter. I was actually afraid if it was still there after I finished rubbing it in 😅 Used the two-finger thing btw!
