Kose - Suncut Aqualy UV Protect Gel SPF 50+ PA++++ Pump

This is the best sunscreen I have tried. Ever. It is amazing for oily and combination skin, way better than the Biore, even though that was already really great. And you get 160ml. And a pump that measures a really good amount. And the same top protection rating. And no nagging scents. What else do you want? Honestly, look no further. This is definitely getting repurchased. And even my partner has finally started using sunscreen daily because there's more of it and all he needs to do is press the pump. Would give 10 stars if I could, that's how much I love this stuff.

Best chemical asian sunscreen that I've tried that is not water resistant, which may or may not be a downside to some people.
I find that water-resistant sunscreens tend to leave sticky/tacky residues; even if it may give me "better, long-lasting protection", I cannot stand feeling like there's something on my skin. This sunscreen does leave a slight film/resistance when I run my fingers over the area applied, but that's not a problem.
Notes:
A bit more viscous compared to biore gel sunscreen or skin aqua moisture gel.
Light yellow tint upon coming out of the bottle, but once spread out it becomes transparent.
Takes about 30 seconds to fully dry, during which my skin has that cooling sensation.
Easily spread throughout face/neck/arms. I found that 1 pump seemed to be the right amount for the face & ears, 1 pump for the neck, 1 pump per arm.
Slight glow/reflection.
No strong alcohol scent upon application; I unscrewed the top and smelled it directly, and I didn't feel that burn that alcohol smells tend to give.
I put it directly over my eyelids and get it everywhere in my eyes, and it won't burn.
1 downside: when you reach the bottom of the bottle, the pump stops working and you still have about 2cm worth of sunscreen in there, not to mention all around the sides.
It was definitely worth it.

I tried going the zinc route with sunscreen because it seemed like every chemical sunscreen I used would break me out or give me a rash. Unfortunately, zinc is super greasy. This sunscreen is not. The Kose works well without burning my eyes or leaving a thick white cast. It’s lotiony but rubs in enough to leave skin a bit dewy but otherwise normal. No breakouts. I like it a lot! Would recommend.

I absolutely love Krave Beauty’s sunscreen. My FAVORITE sunscreen, but it’s tiny and I go through it within a month. This sunscreen is an excellent dupe. The differences are minimal. This one is slightly less moisturizing...but I have dry skin and live in a desert, so my skin is sensitive to the slightest change in moisturization. Overall, the quantity for value can’t be beat and it’s a great sunscreen for reapplication.

Highly recommended sunscreen! I've been scouting for sunscreen for 10+ years have tried everything from Neutrogena, Kiehl's, Clinique, Peter Thom..Clarins so many. This is one of the most cost effective one I know and fell in love with it while using it on the go in Japan + Southeast Asia. Highly absorbent, doesn't produce the white film, doesn't make my skin pale and goes great with my foundation or BB cream. It's truly under rated and a hidden gem

I used to hate wearing SPF on my body, but with this I'm fine to do so whenever I leave the house. Not greasy or sticky at all, not shiny, no burning or stinging on my very sensitive skin, no irritation. After my first tube of this, I even paid about 24 € shipping just to get new ones here, so that says it all: It's just wonderful. ;-)

This Kose sunscreen is by far my best sunscreen! Lightweight, hydrating and moisturizing enough! Nice satin finish that gives you a healthy glow. Will repurchase for sure!

ok I wrote review before and I want to say after using it for awhile on the face you definitely have to cleanse before applying especially if you have oily skin. I have dry skin and if I don't cleanse my nighttime oils and use it in the morning it feels and looks oily and build up of reapplication is even more so but it's still tolerable. but when I do cleanse it feels much better like nothings there to me. I also have purito unscented sunscreen and that formula is much thicker but finish is more matte feeling and the initial application feels more oily than this sunscreen, its light initially but finish is a bit oily. also NO WHITECAST on any tone of skin.

this sunscreen is good. has no white cast cuz its chemical (i have medium light skin) and beautiful texture like watery cream the smell is very slight like alcohol but fades easy, I put this on my face and didn't burn my skin and my eyes 🍼. I was worried about ethanol but I'm ok with it cuz price is good and other ingredients should combat it. its slightly shiny when finished on.
I have purito unscented sunscreen and I like it but its thick and this on isn't as thick feeling and oily seeming. its good and imma buy this alot if the price doesn't fluctuate too much. I worry about reviews alot and I'll tell you its a good sunscreen especially if your sunscreen newbie. ORDER IN COLDER MONTHS SO IT WONT HEAT UP IF YOU CAN.

Applies smoothly and easily with no white cast on my fair skin. no noticeable pilling, and it sits well under makeup. The large bottle means I can use this as a body sunscreen though I do not recommend it for intense activities since it's not sweat or water proof. Will definitely repurchase.

So easy to apply. A little to drying for everyday on my face but every where else, I love it. Dosen't stick to my clothes.

This sunscreen is my go to body sunscreen. I live in the desert and need to apply sunscreen to my entire body for most of the year. The quantity and pump bottle make this so much more efficient for all over body application. This sunscreen is scent free, non-greasy, and doesn't leave a white case. My only complaint is that it is not safe for fungal acne so I can't use it on my face. I have repurchased this product multiple times and still love it.

I love this pump bottle version of this sunscreen. my friend turned me to this sunscreen when we visited Taiwan. it’s been her holy grail sunscreen since she was young and now it’s mine as well. my skin gets really oily in warmer weather and adding sunscreen usually makes it worse. but this one doesn’t break me out and protects me from the harsh sun. love this!
