Shop the makeup Romy used for the mask-proof hack below:
Step 1: Foundation
Lightly spritz the setting spray over the areas where you’ve dotted out the foundation, and then blend out with a foundation brush or beauty blender. Instead of slathering foundation all over the face in one go, start by applying on one side of the face. Then gradually move to the other side, and finish off with the T-zone. Apply concealer as you normally would, and gently blot out any excess foundation with a tissue before moving on to the next step.
Step 2: Setting Powder
Apply the translucent powder on a beauty blender and lightly dab over areas where you’ve applied concealer, or areas prone to oiliness. Let it bake for about 30 seconds if you have dry skin, and up to a minute for oily or combination skin. Once the time is up, brush the powder off with a powder brush. Keep your pressure gentle and light so you don’t brush away your concealer and foundation as well.
Step 3: Eyebrows
Using the spoolie end of the Easy Draw Auto Eyebrow, lightly brush your eyebrows upwards so that they look fuller. Fill in any gaps using the pencil, and then softly brush out eyebrows with the spoolie again to soften the edges. To set your brows in place, use the Kill Brow Color Brow Lacquer for a natural tinted look.
Step 4: Eye Shadow
For an everyday eye makeup look, start with light-colored matte shades as the base shadow and use a shimmer shade for highlight. Apply onto eyelids, and then blend the colors evenly with an eye shadow brush.
Step 5: Eyeliner & Mascara
Add a little drama and definition to the eyes with a tight-lined wing liner look using the Superproof Fitting Brush Eyeliner. Finish off with the Inspire Curling Mascara – instead of brushing it upwards, apply in sideway motions for a natural yet lash-lengthening effect. For an extra eye-opening touch, lightly apply mascara on the lower lashes as well.
Step 6: Blush
For a soft blushed look, lightly dab the creamy blush over the apple of the cheeks and on the tip of the nose. Applying the cream blush with fingertips helps warm up the product, which allows it to blend more seamlessly on skin. When applying blush, go slightly upwards from the apple of the cheeks to create a subtly lifting effect.
Step 7: Lips
Hydrate your lips with the Tint Lip Balm to prevent lip makeup from cracking or flaking. Prep your lips with the Matte Lip Boosting Primer – it helps to prolong the wear of your lipstick, make the colors pop and ensure a smooth application. Finish off by applying See Through Matte Tint Hanbok Project for a touch of lustrous color in a natural and chiffon-like lip finish.
