A year later, I jumped at the chance to try out its new cleansing oil and get a glimpse of other amazing products this brand has to offer. To create a routine that I can work with for the month, I decided to try the cleansing oil along with two other products that have been on my saved list for a while.
Now that my skin is stronger and healthier, I’m also looking to improve other concerns I have this summer: an increasingly tired and dull complexion, hyperpigmentation and a surge of summertime sebum production.
What is it? Lightweight and non-greasy cleansing oil infused with only botanical oils to gently melt away makeup and impurities.
I initially expected that this cleanser was just going to feel like other oil cleansers, but it turned out to be pleasantly different! SIORIS made the Fresh Moment Cleansing Oil truly non-greasy with a water-thin viscosity.
It glides on skin really nicely and seems to remove my makeup a lot quicker than other cleansers. Even against my super smudge-resistant and waterproof eyeliner, I didn’t need to rub much – the lightest touch completely melted away any makeup residue! It left my skin with a moisturized and glowy finish instead of an oily sheen.
What is it? Mildly acidic toner infused with vitamin-rich Jeju citrus and willow bark extracts as well as witch hazel water to provide gentle exfoliation while balancing water-oil levels.
This toner comes in a soothing sea-green color with a natural, mild scent that smells like a soft blend of its key ingredients, particularly hyaluronic acid. The toner’s main component is natsumikan peel, a hybrid Japanese citrus.
It’s also infused with Watson pomelo water from Jeju, which gives the toner its moisturizing and skin-refreshing properties. 5% of organic witch hazel water promotes sebum-balancing effects, while natural BHA and black willow bark extract work to gently exfoliate dead skin.
It leaves an instantly dewy finish that isn’t sticky at all and feels slightly like cold water on skin, which is especially refreshing after a hot shower. The summer climate has led to an increase in blackheads around my nose, and after a month or so of using this toner, I saw slight improvements and fewer blackheads. The toner also works well on my skin after a weekly clay mask.
What is it? A nourishing serum enriched with 66.8% plum water and other superfood ingredients to boost moisture and radiance while improving signs of aging.
Formulated using seasonal plum water instead of regular water, the serum also contains hyaluronic acid of different molecular weights for deeply moisturizing effect. The other ingredients are equally impressive: broccoli extract to revitalize and strengthen skin, oat kernel extract to nourish, grape seed oil for moisture retention, plus vitamins and niacinamide to lighten pigmentation and restore skin elasticity.
SIORIS recommends this for dry, irritated, sensitive skin, and from my experience so far, I’ve had no issues. I would avoid applying on open wounds or rashes, as the serum can leave a slight tingle. For me, a firm push usually dispenses enough product to use on my whole face, and I do like how the applicator works by pressing instead of squeezing. The creamy, translucent-white serum has a consistency that sits between runny and viscous, and boasts a mild, bitter citrusy scent. I’ve been using it both morning and night, and it always leaves my skin feeling hydrated and soft.
I’ve been living by cold-pressed coconut oil as my multi-purpose cleanser for about a year now and I wasn’t really planning to swap it for any regular oil cleanser. I must say that the Fresh Moment Cleansing Oil did not disappoint and is a keeper for sure! It makes removing my makeup less of a chore and more like a luxurious skin care step. Its non-greasy finishing is the feature that really sold me. My only complaint? I wish it came in a bigger size, since I’m already halfway through my bottle!
After using Feel So Fresh Toner every day, I came to realize it might not be as hydrating as the Dear, Klairs ones I tried before. At the moment, I alternate between three toners depending on my mood and skin quality. This toner just feels so soothing and refreshing on skin and I’m happy to keep using it! I think it’s definitely suitable for all skin types as an everyday toner, but if you’re looking for added features such as anti-aging, then this product is probably a little too basic.
The Bring The Light Serum is simply a pleasure to use and makes my skin feel happily hydrated and soft! In fact, the serum is so hydrating that – and I’m praying my fellow YesStylists won’t scold me about this – I’ve been skipping moisturizers for a while now! Even for my dry and sensitive skin, this serum provides enough moisture and dries quickly to a soft finish. I may be able to get away with not using moisturizers for now, but I’m not sure if the serum will be hydrating enough for winter. My only reservation with this serum is that I haven’t seen any dramatic improvements on my scars and pigmentation yet, but they’ve undoubtedly lightened a bit, and you do need to use serums longer to see significant results.
