Are you more into skin care, makeup or both?
Hmmm…this is hard. I would say both because they’re both going on my skin! I try to make sure the products I use are ones that I trust and aren’t bad for my skin. After going through a rough year of acne, I realized I needed to invest in skin care and be more careful about makeup!
After managing to get rid of your acne, do you have any skin care essentials that you rely on to keep your acne at bay?
YES. The E Nature Moringa Cleansing Balm (double cleansing is SO IMPORTANT) and an AHA//BHA serum. I personally love to use the Drunk Elephant glycolic night serum but I also love the Krave Kale-lalu-yAHA. I am also still using Curology around twice a week.
If you could use only 3 skin care and 3 makeup items for the rest of your life, what would they be?
Ooooh, this is actually hard! For skin care, it would be E NATURE Moringa Cleansing Balm, the Drunk Elephant glycolic night serum AHA/BHA exfoliator and a moisturizer with SPF in it like the Paula’s Choice Essential Glow Moisturizer! Then for makeup, it’d probably be my Fenty concealer, EM Cosmetics eyebrow pencil and a lip tint….probably the 3CE Velvet Lip Tint in the shade Going Right!

What are some skin care tips that you follow?
- You don’t have to do a 7-step routine. Everybody’s skin is different. Sometimes, people do better with less products but some people’s skin needs more. It just depends!
- Double cleansing — something I do every night and has sincerely helped my skin. I realized I wasn’t doing a very good job at cleansing my skin, and I still need to work on it, but this is important!
- Don’t over or under exfoliate — find a balance and discover which kind of exfoliation products work best for your skin!
- WEAR SUNSCREEN PLEASE!
