The festive weekends of Coachella have come and gone. Maybe you’re still soaking up the sun in the California desert, or admiring the event and major style inspo from afar just like me.
All those music festival outfits provide the perfect excuses for me to dust off or shop for sultry maxis, cheeky swimsuits, flowy dresses and crochet pieces. If these looks are comfortable enough to get party-goers through a weekend of dancing under the sun and stars, they’re probably good enough to help me withstand the scorching heat in the months to come!
1. Printed Bardot Sundress from Sincethen
I love a good flattering sundress. It’s a versatile piece that works throughout summer from vacations, date nights and beach days to just hanging out. While it can be fun spending hours getting dolled up, this printed mini dress is a simple yet chic option, and much appreciated on rushed mornings. The Bardot neckline offers French-girl vibes.
2. Crochet Romper from Dabuwawa
Speaking of getting ready in a jiffy, a cute romper is one of the best choices. With its easy-to-wear silhouette and lightweight fabric, this crocheted number will probably be one of my favorite pieces this season. I might even team it with a tough pair of combat boots for a modern take on bohemian style.
3. Sheer Lace Kimono Jacket from Kokuko
This sheer kimono jacket feels fresh and summery. The chic number isn’t just perfect for adding unexpected boho vibes to warm-weather looks, it’s also ideal for layering over one-piece swimsuits.
4. Surplice-Wrap Bardot Top from LIPHOP
This ruched shoulder-baring style will get you ready in no time! Don’t be afraid to pile on jewelry, preferably minimal necklaces like simple pendants and fine chains. The look can easily be dressed up with heels.
5. White Wide-Leg Jeans from DEEPNY
I’ve been craving for these throwback boyfriend jeans. This pair flatters with a high waist and light wash. A cropped tank and wedge sandals are all I need for a classic look, or I can team it with a puff-sleeve top to keep it voluminous.
6. Tie-Dye Mermaid Skirt from PPGIRL
The tie-dye trend is going strong. This beautiful mermaid midi skirt takes a feminine spin of the trend, which means I can get away with wearing those psychedelic swirls to work without looking like I live in Coachella. I’d counterbalance the vibrant colors with a muted button-up.
7. Babydoll Crochet Tank Top from TOM & RABBIT
Crochet is my favorite fabric for summer, and this embellished babydoll tank is one elegant style that works well beyond the beach. When it gets so hot that wearing clothes become a burden, team it with short shorts for a day around town.
8. Lace Swimsuit from LOVEMILK
I suspect this lace swimsuit is designed to be worn also as a daily wear. The sheer inserts and tight fit are made to flatter the figure, while the beautiful lace details and deep V-neck are certain to impress. Team with a button-up shirt, shorts and sneakers. Wherever you are, this sultry look will turn heads.
9. Paisley Print Shirt from KONGSTYLE
I just can’t get enough of paisley print lately! Featuring the classic print, this monochrome button-up is equally appropriate for the office, brunches and the beach. Just think about all the layering possibilities it offers for solid-colored swimsuits, sundresses, sheaths and more!
10. Smocked Midi Dress from Ginger Girl
Smocked dresses are an unexpectedly girlish take on festival style, and this puff-sleeved version does just the trick for the weekends. The ruffled neckline is a sweet touch, not to mention Breton stripes always work for a trip to the beach.
