Spring Moodboard

As soon as I flipped my calendar to March, I began counting down to the first day of spring. I’m super excited that winter is officially over, and spring means spending a little more time outside basking in the sun.

What do I love most about spring? Lots and lots of flowers! Springtime here in Hong Kong may not look as breathtaking as Japan’s cherry blossom season, but there are still plenty of flowers blooming all over the city that give me all the spring vibes I need. Other things that put me in the mood for spring are citrus fruits, spring picnics, flowy dresses and bright yet soft makeup looks.

Are you ready for spring? Here’s some inspiration to get you started:

I’ve already swapped out my winter skin care and makeup staples for spring. If you haven’t done the transition yet, you better get started! For natural, radiant skin and fresh makeup looks, here are some beauty items that I’m loving for spring, and ones that you can add to your YesStyle cart:

My wardrobe revolves around simple, minimal outfits that I can wear throughout the year. I’m not into buying trendy picks as I don’t like the idea of wearing something for only one season – plus it’s not sustainable. After Marie Kondo-ing my closet and color-coordinating everything, I realized that the colors black, white and gray dominate my wardrobe, but come spring, I’m definitely incorporating more colors. Soft pink, yellow, blue and lilac are some of my favorite hues for both spring and summer. Going for lighter fabrics are also a must and linen is my go-to!

I also keep accessorizing to a minimum so I prefer statement earrings or necklaces; I’m currently obsessed with resin and geometric earrings. Check out some of the spring-inspired outfits and accessories that I’m into:
