Online retailers YesStyle and YesAsia proudly sponsor the 2013 Korean Film Festival in Australia (KOFFIA). This year marks YesAsia's first and YesStyle's second collaboration with the festival, now in its fourth year. YesAsia and YesStyle's sponsorship reinforces the companies' commitment to supporting the promotion of Asian cinema and Asian culture around the world.
KOFFIA is organized by the Korean Cultural Office, Australia (KCO), a diplomatic non-profit organization based in Sydney that acts as the Cultural Ambassador to all things Korean in Australia. With the theme "The Many Faces of Korean Cinema," this year's KOFFIA will screen 17 feature-length films and a number of short films representing a wide variety of genres and topics. The festival will be held in three cities along Australia's east coast: Brisbane (August 14-18), Sydney (August 21-29) and Melbourne (September 5-11).
As part of the sponsorship, YesStyle will give a cash donation and YesAsia will sponsor prizes for the festival's giveaways at screenings and events. YesAsia will also give out double passes to the festival via social media.
"KOFFIA is delighted to partner once again with YesAsia and YesStyle for the 2013 edition of the festival," said Kieran Tully, Festival Manager & Artistic Director of the Korean Cultural Office Australia. "YesAsia and YesStyle provide Australians direct access to the latest Korean music, films, dramas and clothing brands, bringing Korea closer to Australia than ever before."
