These rain boots are exactly what I was looking for. Where I live, the weather is unpredictable and a pair of rain boots is necessary for walking around university. They feel well built and having shoe laces is the best part. They also look great with whatever I am wearing. I recommend wearing socks though.
I really love the sneaker look of these rain boots specially with the shoe laces as normal rain boots are not as adjustable as these and may slip off your foot. Its rubber material is water proof and well built and fits true to size with enough wiggle room for your feet as well as the ankles (which makes it easier to walk in it). But you may need to wear some socks inside as the material is hard and rough for the skin.
I've always wanted rain boot, but where I'm from people dont really use them, so these sneakers are perfect! normally my shoes get soaked and it's annoying. These are cute!
The boots do their job, and they can make an awesome fashion statement. However, they are pretty stiff and don't come with padding, so it can be uncomfortable to wear them at first. After you break them in, it is still necessary to wear high socks with them, so that the socks don't fall and the boots don't keep on rubbing and chaffing your ankles.
Pros: looks cute and fits well.
Con: needs to be worn with thick socks, longer than the ankle to prevent rubbing.
I love these boots they are stylish and chic. It goes well with any casual outfit. These boots does the job with keeping your feet dry however I find them sort of uncomfortable theres barely to no padding so walking in these boots for a long time can be very painful. My only complaint is the comfort.
Got these today. I ordered the one in black. Very thick rubber and sturdy looking laces. I'm using these for winter (our winters aren't cold as much as wet) as well as just a rainy day.
One thing to note, they are a bit big. I'm a size 3 canadian/ 5 US, and 35 is supose to be size 5 but they do go past my toes a bit, as well as a bit wide on the side, but it's still a good boot. I have this problem a lot since my feet are so small/ narrow.
If you have small feet like me, you can still purchase and waer these- they won't slip off, it's just a bit more 'room' is all.
These shoes are longer than expected but the sides/width fit comfortably. They are cute rain boots, but the opening around the ankles rub your skin raw. Wear with thick long socks. Read on for more detail.
SIZE: I ordered a Hong Kong size 40 which I thought would suit my US size 7.5 (I used the measurements on this page rather than the general YesStyle size chart). They ended up being way too large. I had ~2cm of wiggle room in the front for my feet, which is quite roomy. The measurements YesStyle provides for this shoe are a bit inaccurate. I measured the boot and it’s about ~26.5 cm in length when on this page, it claims to be 25 cm. And at the widest part of the shoe, it’s ~9.5 cm wide rather than 8 cm. However, the width of the shoe is comfortable since I have wide-ish feet. You should go off of YesStyle’s general size chart to find your true size, do not use the measurements provided on this page.
THE SHOE: Surprisingly comfortable and cute! Black, casual, and waterproof. If you’re into the chunky boot trend like Doc Martens, you’ll probably like this boot. My only criticism is that your ankles will rub against the inner lining of the shoe opening, which is very uncomfortable. I would wear thick, tall (at least 1-2 in. above your ankles) socks with these shoes.
I am returning these shoes but only because I decided they didn’t look very good on me. Just my personal opinion!
I love these. They're stylish and they definitely get the job done--my feet stayed dry even through a ridiculous amount of rain. As a university student, I do a lot of walking and my only warning would be that they are fairly painful to break in. Wear thick socks while walking the first time! Your ankles will thank you!
