In 1974, French brand Decléor began as a collaborative effort by a passionate team consisting of a beautician, doctor, shiatsu teacher and an aromatherapist-cum-physiotherapist to design beauty products for the well-being of the body, skin and spirit. Their holistic approach to beauty produced AROMESSENCE, a line of colorant- and preservative-free daily serums to be applied before moisturizer. The line was an immediate success and aromatherapy treatments became the brand's flagship line; balms and creams for the face and body soon followed, as well as a unique skincare line for men.
Essential oils play a major role in Decléor's aromatherapy treatments; these oils are distilled to produce extremely concentrated versions of the plant's beautifying properties, be it rose for cleansing or ylang ylang for soothing sensitive skin. Today Decléor is the largest cosmetic aromatherapy brand, renowned for its fabulous plant-based treatments that are practiced in beauty salons worldwide.
