Organizing Your Wardrobe

Do you make it a habit to plan what you’re going to wear the day or night before? This makes good practice if you usually rush or end up late to your meetings because you just can’t decide what to wear!

Sometimes I wished I had a virtual wardrobe like Cher in ‘Clueless’ that can help me organize my clothes and mix-n-match my outfits.

There’s an app for iPhone and iTouch that helps you categorize your clothing so that getting ready in the morning is a breeze. The only task is to individually take a photo of every piece of clothing in your wardrobe. This could take days, but will save you a lot of time later on. It’s also a good time for a little spring cleaning!

Once you’re set, you can plan your daily outfits digitally without messing up your wardrobe.

8.00AM: Get up. Brush your teeth. Wash your face. Put on your gym attire (sports bra from Breeze Comfort, sleeveless shirt from 59 Seconds & sweatpants from Ando Store) and sweat out work stress with a good morning workout.

9.00AM: Shower. Breakfast. Get ready for work. Stockings from Shy Shy matches your black La Fresha pumps and simple beige A-line dress (SARAH) gives you a classic, feminine look that’s perfect for day and night.

Put on a tweed jacket (Stylementor) and accessorize with a pearl necklace from Tokyo Fashion and Kvoll’s chain strap fleece shoulder bag to stylize your outfit. You’re set for work!

7.00PM: Time for a dinner date with girlfriends! You could choose to wear what you wore to the office or change it up a bit. For a more feminine look, wear a Lilac dress from Nabi and accesorize with purple rhinestone earrings from Clueberry and ASHTON clutch. Put on your Kvoll peep-toe stilettos and you’re ready for a night out!
