Hours before the start of SMTOWN Live ‘10 concert, fan groups came together at the LA Convention and Exhibition Center to share their love and show support for Girls’ Generation, Super Junior, SHINee, and TVXQ. Soshified, the largest online English-language fan club for Girls’ Generation, and by far the largest group at the pre-concert fan meet-up, offered free food, free tickets sponsored by YesStyle and foam hearts for the concert in a room full of life-sized cut-outs, posters and streaming videos of the chart-topping girl group.

While Girls’ Generation fans danced, beat-boxed and ate free pizza in the pink-themed fan meet, KoreaBoo, a collection of all the SMTOWN artist fan clubs, met at the other end of the convention center. Fans of Super Junior, SHINee and TVXQ were scattered at the corners of the room, decked out in fan T-shirts and carrying hand-painted posters, while an ever-growing crowd gathered around a group of dancing fans. These die-hard fans were extremely well-rehearsed and repeated the MTV dance moves of their favorite stars without skipping a beat. They ever swapped dancers to keep the dance going as the songs played on repeat. Check out the fans below!

SHINee World, E.L.F., Cassiopeia

Super Junior fans were easily recognizable in bright blue tees that seem to complement Soshified fans’ shocking pink, which is fitting considering Girls’ Generation is often considered the girl version of Super Junior. Outside the Staples Center while waiting for arena doors to open, fans proudly held out their hand-painted posters for display and picture-taking. Fans were more than artistic and drew pretty caricatures of the boys, while others showed off well-rehearsed dance moves non-stop. Hee-Chul’s mask was carried by a number of fans. These die-hard TVXQ fans flew into LA from Mexico, just to attend the concert and catch a glimpse of Max and U-Know.

Soshified

Soshified fans stood out in their official Soshified SMTOWN Live ‘10 pink tees and with their heart-shaped foam boards. Other SNSD fans wore customized T-shirts and held colorful signboards coming to LA from as far as Toronto. Fans came wearing pink Soshified SMTOWN Live 2010 T-shirts and signed pink message boards for each of the girls to show dedicated unity in supporting their beloved idols.
